Amazing place!!! Had a cuban there and to be honest one of the best ive had in my life. The pulled pork was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The bread was just the perfect amount of crispy. Service was amazing. A very cute layout. A nice place to eat and meet.

So , this place is amazing !!! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly seasoned !!! I order my 5yr old a chicken sandwich & waffle fries and he bit into the burger and yelled “ omg this is delicious! “ and if you know kids they can be very picky eaters lol . He loved it ! I loved my food as well ! Will definitely be ordering again .

Best chicken and waffles we've had up north. Waffles are light and fluffy and the chicken is well seasoned and juicy! Can't wait to come back!

Amazing chicken and waffles. Great little local place for breakfast and lunch. Love that they add cinnamon to their coffee and give you little whisks instead of spoons for stirring. Very cute place!

The empanadas are DELICIOUS!The chicken tortilla soup was very tasty. The service was pleasant and prompt; my waitress, Chelsea, has a kind smile and was attentive to our requests. The food took slightly longer than anticipated to come out, but because it was so fresh, warm and the right temperature, I understood. I recommend 4 Chick's Cafe if you are looking for a good meal at reasonable pricing.

The early bird doesn't need to wait long. Great prices. Awesome menu. Does not disappoint.

My first time at 4Chicks was a great experience. Each table has a selection of hot sauces (Jersey Bonfire) and ketchup (Gemini Crow) from very local sources. Their house coffee is spiked perfectly with cinnamon, they also have a variety of teas and cafe con leche. Went with their chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and crispy and the waffles were soft and just right. I usually like a thicker more crunchy exterior on my fried chicken, but that's personal preference. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back to try more menu items.

Awesome cauliflower buffalo taco's. Reasonable prices. Nice people. The hours are not great, but I assume that will change with time, and in non-covid conditions.

Came in for breakfast and attempted to order 2 eggs and fried chicken with a side of tater tots. The waitress told me that they do not do that, but if you look at the photos in google they clearly do. After talking to another waitress, I was again told the same thing. After deciding I did not want to dine there, I was still charged for my coffee and WATER which I did not take a sip of.

Mmmm. While some of their default versions aren't exactly to my taste, a few simple adjustments and it's NYC quality/chic for little 'ole Newton prices.

4Chicks Cafe is a very cute spot (with great natural lighting I must add!) that is known for Chicken and Waffles. We totally missed it at first, it looks just like a regular house which I think adds to the charm.It was a bit of a chilly day so I was really excited to see their long list of teas as well as the hot apple cider on the menu. We got the hot apple cider which wasn't as hot as I would have liked but either way hit the spot.There are a lot of cool choices for food but I decided to go with their signature dish, the Chicken and Waffles. The waffle was really good, I liked the flavor of it a lot. I wasn't a fan of the chicken though. The batter tasted a bit burnt and the chicken was too chewy for my taste. It was definitely too big for me to finish in one shot so I took about half of it home.We also tried the Three Cheese Grilled Cheese with shrimp which was really good. The shrimp that they added was rather large and a significant amount (great bang for your buck for sure!)

It's good.. Not great but I would return. The fried chicken wasn't awesome and the biscuits were OK.. But you k ow what they say.. SUSSEX COUNTY!

Their food is amazing!! Great even if you don't love fried chicken like me!

Friendly, fast service. The fish tacos came with two very fresh and delicious pieces of fish, instead of the tiny pieces you usually get with the tacos.My friend had the fish sandwich, which came with one big piece of fish. She loved it.Our other friend had the chicken sandwich. It was tremendous and he enjoyed it to the last bite. Their sandwiches came with fries. My meal did not.Excellent experience. I would recommend this cafe to anyone wanting a casual but smart atmosphere and a pleasant, relaxed dining environment.

Giving one star because there is no option for no stars. Called 45 minutes before closing and they would not take my takeout order. They didn't even ask what it was to see if it was doable. I know it's a scratch kitchen but if they can't stand the heat they should get out of that kitchen. They have lost a customer. I won't go back. And I'll spread the word about their disregard for patrons. Was it worth it, 4 chicks?

Everything about this place was amazing! The food was FANTASTIC and very well priced (affordable). The staff is great! Very nice. The cafe is very clean. I say this place has the millennial vibe to it :)

The takeout was well done. The fried chicken sandwich was terrific. The chicken, biscuits and gravy also delicious!

Food was ok. Cheese in omelet was not melted and only one slice of barely toasted bread. Bacon on breakfast sandwich was skimpy. Tots were delicious. Waited 30 minutes for food to come out. Tea is served with the tea bag in a flower diffuser, very cute. Service was good, everyone very friendly. Another table got fried chicken with waffles and they looked amazing. There was a problem at that table and the owner came right out and apologized and fixed it. The music was very loud for the morning, we asked if it could be lowered (which I hate doing) and server said "no". She said another customer had asked her another time to lower the music, and the owners said no.

I loved my dish and drink. The iced coffee was so cold and refreshing, then I had chicken tacos and those were some of the best tacos that I've had in Sussex county.

Waitress was very slow to take our order, never came back to refill coffee and then the food took forever to come out on top of it. Food was okay: the side of potatoes were microwaved. What really gets me is they charge .05¢ for Newton township garbage TAP water. Where do you go that charges for TAP water?? Fun fact it's illegal in NJ to charge for tap water, so what you're charging me for the free straw you handed us? A lovely loud argument broke out between a customer and waitress where the waitress basically egged on the customer who was actually justified in her complaint of how slow the service was. It wasn't that the place was busy, it was that the waitress was ditsy slow and just put zero effort in. Would not go back.

Fantastic place to get chicken and waffles, easily top 5 chicken and waffles I've ever had. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and did I mention they have some of the best chicken and waffles you'll ever eat. There's a tasty selection of sauces to have your chicken tossed in, and good choices of hot sauces on the table too. The generous portions are enough to fill up the hungriest eater, I couldn't finish mine, not that I didn't try. For breakfast or lunch, this is a place you want to check out. Don't forget to bring your appetite and enjoy!

Had brunch with my husband on a weekday. The food was great. Would definitely go again. We brought our own champagne for mimosas and paired those with cafe con leche, which was amazing, along with our food which we split. Fairly priced and great quality.

The service is really good but the foods ok. I wasn't too pleased with the chicken and waffles but the sandwich was pretty good. Cinnamon in the coffee was a nice touch.

Awesome goodness..ALWAYS! My son had the Firebird and I had Chicken and Grits. The chicken is to DIE for....crispy yet so moist.

Love this place! Friendly husband and wife from Queens team operated, and the food is always delicious. My daughter loves the waffles, I adore the chicken tacos with fried plantain and curry mustard sauce (so much that I can't bring myself to order anything else every time I go!) Can't recommend it enough. 😁

Their Crispy Chicken Sandwich was alright. Their "bang" sauce is literally Ken's Boom Boom Sauce. The Dirty Fries was EVERYTHING. Overall, the food was good but I couldn't get over the fact that they charge $0.05 FOR WATER.

Started with a basic fried chicken sandwich before I tried anything more elaborate: it was delicious. Perfect amount of breading, just the right amount of spicy, and the pickles are great touch.Good service, and the place was clean, light music, and plenty of seating for such a small area.Now just gotta start on the rest of the menu!

Great service and wonderful food, had French toast with fruit and whipped cream. My husband had cheese omelette, everything was great. Mocha latte was also delicious. My husband said coffee was very good but would prefer it without cinnamon. Overall everything great, price a little high but worth it.

The food is fantastic, but the service is terrible. I have been there 3 times and each time the waitress made us feel uncomfortable because they are so unfriendly. I've honestly received more welcoming service from McDonalds. It says they're open until 3:30, but when I went to order dessert (fried oreos) at 3 oclock I was told no because the deep fryer was already cleaned. Typically a server would come to your table and ask if there was anything else you wanted because they are going to start shutting down the kitchen - but not here. It's a simple thing that 1) provides a better customer experience and 2) makes them more money! Great food but the service kills the vibe

They are SO CHEAP. They charge for water & also charge $4 for a CUP of green tea. Ridiculously overpriced for mediocre and lackluster food. The friend chicken had no seasoning and the “extra sauce” was a drop. Overall, very disappointing and I will not be back or recommend this place. I can’t believe this place got good reviews.

Great food and service. All their food is great. Chicken and waffles is amazing.

Ordered Biscuits and Gravy platter. Plus ordered extra sausage gravy. It was soooo good. Biscuit weren't dry which helped scoop the leftover gravy on side of container. Definitely found a legit place. Everything else looked good on the menu.

Fire bird was slamming! A little bit of a wait though, about 30 mins. Fried chicken grilled cheese sandwich in the back which was great as well!

A little pricey but worth your money . limited seating

I went there for breakfast and I am highly disappointed. The fact that I was charged .05 for a glass of water and they want to charge even more if you add lime or lemon is outrageous. $4.00 per tea you get and $4.00 for a side of bacon that was only two slices. I loved their empanadas, but now they only serve them in their new location, that was disappointing to find out. They used to be a great little place, but for three people to eat and the bill be over $70 isn’t worth it.

Great food and portion size but we did wait about 30 min being 2nd in line to order. Price isn't too bad for the meals but pricey on tea $4. I would definitely come back in the future. Very nice atmosphere and great choice of mood music. Hostess is quick and efficient. Nice in town spot.
